WEDDING DRESS TRENDS

No matter what your style, there's sure to be a wedding dress trend out there that's perfect for you. With so many different options to choose from, you're sure to find a dress that takes you feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day.

Here are some of the wedding dress trends for this year:

3D lace flowers: These delicate blooms add a touch of dimension and romance to your gown.
Puff sleeves: Whether you choose short, puffy sleeves or long, billowing ones, they're sure to make a statement.
Bridal dresses with detachable sleeves: This is a great way to have two looks in one dress. You can start with a more traditional look for the ceremony and then remove the sleeves for a more relaxed look for the reception.
Pastel color bridal gowns: If you're not interested in a traditional white dress, consider a pastel hue like baby blue or soft pink.
Deconstructed silhouettes: These dresses feature elements like exposed boning, sheer paneling, and raw hems for a unique and avant-garde look.
Mini wedding dresses: If you're looking for something short and sweet, a mini dress is a great option.
Feathers: Feathers add a touch of glamour and whimsy to your wedding dress.
Wedding dresses with pearls: Pearls are a classic and elegant choice for any bride.
Blazers and jackets: A blazer or jacket can add a touch of sophistication to your wedding look.

WEDDING DRESS SILHOUETTES

Choosing the right silhouette for your wedding dress is just as important as the overall style and details. Here's a breakdown of the most popular wedding dress silhouettes to help you find the perfect match:

Ball gown: The classic fairy tale silhouette, featuring a fitted bodice and a voluminous skirt that flows out from the waist. Ideal for creating a dramatic and glamorous look.
A-line: Universally flattering, the A-line silhouette gracefully skims the body and flares out gently from the waist, creating a balanced and elegant look.
Sheath: Chic and sophisticated, the sheath silhouette hugs the body's natural curves, creating a streamlined and modern look. Perfect for brides who want to show off their figure.
Mermaid: The figure-hugging silhouette flares out dramatically from the knees, creating an hourglass figure. Perfect for showing off your curves and making a statement.
Trumpet: Similar to the mermaid but with a less dramatic flare, starting from around the mid-thigh. Flattering for many body types and offers a balance between classic and modern.
Tea-length: A playful and whimsical silhouette that ends at the knee or mid-calf, perfect for a more casual or vintage-inspired wedding.
Separates: Offer versatility and a unique look, allowing you to mix and match tops and skirts to create your own personalized ensemble.
Jumpsuit: A modern and stylish alternative to a traditional dress, perfect for the bride who wants something comfortable and chic.

BRIDAL GOWN NECKLINES

Selecting the right neckline for your wedding dress is crucial, as it can flatter your figure, highlight your best features, and reflect your personal style. Here's a guide to popular necklines to help you find your perfect match:

Sweetheart neckline: This classic neckline dips into a gentle curve resembling the top of a heart, drawing attention to the décolletage and creating a soft, feminine look. Ideal for petite brides or those wanting to enhance their bustline.
Strapless wedding dresses: A timeless and elegant choice, strapless necklines showcase the shoulders and décolletage, creating a statuesque silhouette. Perfect for brides who want a clean and sophisticated look.
Off-the-shoulder bridal gowns: Similar to strapless, but with sleeves that drape off the shoulders, adding a touch of romance and whimsy. Flattering for most body types and offers a comfortable and supportive option.
Square neck wedding dresses: Offers a modern and architectural feel with clean, straight lines across the collarbone. Perfect for brides with defined shoulders and those wanting a unique and striking look.
V-neck bridal dresses: Creates a lengthening effect, making you appear taller and slimmer. Available in various depths, from subtle dips to plunging necklines, catering to different comfort levels and preferences.
High neck wedding gowns: Provides coverage and sophistication, often featuring intricate details like lace or beading. Ideal for brides who prefer a conservative or regal look.
Scoop neck wedding dresses: Similar to sweetheart but with a wider, U-shaped scoop, offering a comfortable and versatile option for various bust sizes.
Jewel neck bridal dresses: Features a high neckline that curves around the base of the neck, often adorned with embellishments for a touch of glamour. Perfect for brides seeking a regal and sophisticated look.
Portrait neck: Frames the face with a wider, squared neckline that sits just above the collarbone. Elegant and flattering for most body types.

Remember, the most important factor is choosing a neckline that makes you feel confident and radiant on your special day. Don't hesitate to experiment and try on different styles to find the one that flatters your figure and reflects your unique personality!

BUYING YOUR WEDDING GOWN ONLINE

Shopping for wedding dresses online can be a convenient and exciting way to find your dream dress, but it's important to be aware of the potential challenges and do your research before you buy. Here are some things to keep in mind:

PROS

Wider wedding dress selection: Online stores often have a larger selection of dresses than traditional bridal boutiques, allowing you to browse a wider variety of styles, designers, and price points.
Convenience: You can shop from the comfort of your own home, at any time of day or night. No need to worry about store hours or travel time.
Competitive prices: You may be able to find better deals online, as online retailers don't have the same overhead costs as brick-and-mortar stores.
Read reviews: Many online retailers allow customers to leave reviews on the dresses they purchased. This can be helpful in getting an idea of the quality, fit, and overall look of the dress.

CONS

Can't try before you buy: This is the biggest drawback to shopping online. You can't try on the bridal dress before you buy it, so you can't be sure of the fit or how it looks on you. Kollekcio offers free custom tailoring, so you never have to worry about the dress not fitting you right.
Risk of poor quality: It can be difficult to assess the quality of a dress online, especially if the photos are not high quality. Be wary of deals that seem too good to be true, and only shop from reputable retailers. If the price is too cheap, there is always a reason for that. It is not possible to create high quality dresses for very low prices, no matter where the dress was made. At Kollekcio we offer the best and highest quality images for you to access the craftmanship and quality.
Hidden fees: Some online retailers charge additional fees, such as shipping, handling, or alterations, that may not be readily apparent at first glance. Be sure to factor these costs into your budget. Kollekcio doesn't charge any hidden fees. All fees are clearly displayed for you.

Here are some tips for shopping for wedding dresses online safely and successfully:

Do your research: Read reviews of different online retailers before you buy anything.
Set a budget: Determine how much you can afford to spend on a dress before you start shopping.
Know your measurements: Get your measurements accurately taken by a professional tailor or seamstress.
Shop with a credit card: Credit cards offer more protection than debit cards in case of fraudulent activity.

Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to shop for your wedding dress online is up to you. If you weigh the pros and cons carefully and do your research, you can find a great dress online. However, if you're not comfortable buying a dress without trying it on first, you may be better off shopping at a traditional bridal boutique.
